What are Cubans doing boarding a bus from Texas to New York?

Texas political science professor Emil Ficker told JournoNews, “The socialists are getting smarter; in the old days they were about the least imaginative thinkers. However, the idea to interfere with point Greg Abbott’s trying to make by putting their people on Abbott’s buses and then have them raise cane was actually inspired. They got some play out of it and for free. Well, it was sort of free; the bus ride was free. I’m sure they had to pay the two Cubans something., probably not much,, knowing the Democrats. Trying to trick the public, well that’s never free.”

The Democratic Party last week put agents and provocateurs on a Texas bus bound for the Big Apple — which was supposed to go to several cities along the way to let passengers off — threatened to call cops when the driver said they wouldn’t be stopping in Tennessee, The Post has learned.

The charter bus is part of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s border initiative.

The Democrats let all the media know about what was going to happen, including the New York post.

The Post was in Del Rio, Texas, Friday morning as immigrants boarded the bus which was supposed to stop in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Washington, D.C., before arriving at its final destination in New York City.

About 40 immigrants, a majority of the passengers, were supposed to get off in Chattanooga, they said.

By early Saturday, the bus driver told the asylum-seekers they would not be stopping in Chattanooga.

The unexpected change came after local authorities intercepted a Texas to DC bus in Georgia on Thursday, and threatened to arrest those aboard, according to several of the immigrants.

The sheriff in Dade County, Georgia, intercepted that vehicle and told those aboard to leave his county, a deputy from the department told FOX News.

Some of the passengers on the New York-bound bus became upset Saturday when the driver announced the change in itinerary, pleading for hours to make the planned stop. Many had plans to meet relatives or travel from Chattanooga.

“Two Cubans started to make a commotion. They were saying they needed to be let off the bus, over and over and over again and called the police,” said Jose, an immigrant on the bus who asked The Post not to use his last name for fear of retribution.

“The buses are supposed to be voluntary. That’s what we were told when we got on,” said Jose.

The Democratic operatives who looked like immigrants, claimed they were seeking asylum, are not illegal and have authorization to travel in the US. The state of Texas gave them envelopes with what bus stop they were supposed to get off at.

Ultimately, they said, the bus did stop in Chattanooga.

“We were dropped off at park about 45 minutes away from the airport and police were waiting for us there. They told us to stay at the park for our protection. We waited there until an Uber came to pick us up and took us to the airport,” said Jose.

The Texas Governor’s Office first denied there was a problem and later referred The Post to the Texas Department of Emergency Management for comment. The department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Jose and dozens of other immigrants were able to make their way to the Chattanooga airport, leaving only about five passengers on the New York-bound bus.

“I feel like they lied to us about what was going to happen on the bus. If the buses are supposed to be voluntary, then they should stick to that,” Jose said.

Greg Abbott sick of a million illegals showing up in Texas

Buses carrying migrants from Texas to New York at the direction of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has set off a firestorm of condemnation from Democratic leaders. To the Republican governor of the Lone Star state, the Northeast Democrats should call on President Biden to secure the border and remedy the immigration crisis.

“This is horrific when you think about what the governor is doing,” New York City Mayor Eric Adams said Sunday, when he met migrants getting off a bus from Texas.

It was the second bus of migrants to reach New York since Friday, and Adams slammed Abbott for the move, arguing some of the migrants on the bus wanted to go to destinations other than New York but were not allowed.

Conservative leaders in red states along the border had threatened sending some of the record number of migrants that have come to the U.S. since Biden took office to liberal cities located far from the border.

“President Biden and his administration have willingly surrendered the United States’ southern border to dangerous criminal cartels, with no thought given to the South Texas border communities like McAllen and Del Rio, which are running low on resources from dealing with this massive influx of illegal immigrants,” Sen. Ted Cruz said last year while introducing a bill that would relocate migrants from South Texas to ports of entry in liberal cities such as Palo Alto, Calif., and vacation hot spots like Martha’s Vineyard.

In April of 2022, Abbott took action and sent the first bus of migrants from Texas to Washington, D.C. This month, two buses of migrants from Texas reached New York City and more are headed to D.C.

Abbott’s office hit back at Adams’ comment that it was “horrific” the governor was sending buses of migrants up to New York, telling him to take the matter up with the president and call for strengthened border policies.

“What’s horrific is the thousands of illegal immigrants overrunning and overwhelming our border communities with populations smaller than a New York City borough, and Mayor Adams is hypocritically upset about welcoming a few dozen into his sanctuary city,” Abbott press secretary Renae Eze told Fox News Digital on Monday.
