Forget you, Fauci!

Megyn Kelly ripped White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci on her podcast Wednesday, reacting to Fauci’s announcement that he will step down from his government role before the end of the year.

The former Fox News anchor blasted Fauci, who told CNN earlier this week he will “certainly consider” testifying before Congress after he steps down from his role at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Republicans have promised to call Fauci, the chief government spokesman during the COVID-19 pandemic, to testify on his recommendations and oversight of funding for coronavirus research in Wuhan, China.

“He sounds like he’s been invited to afternoon tea at one of our houses,” Kelly said on SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast. “F*** you, Fauci! You don’t get to say whether you go. You get a congressional subpoena, you show up, or you get the Steve Bannon treatment.”

Steve Bannon, the former chief strategist to President Donald Trump and a media personality, was found guilty of criminal contempt of Congress for refusing to answer a subpoena to testify on the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

In a monologue on Wednesday’s podcast, Kelly savaged Fauci, accusing him of lying repeatedly to the American people and of encouraging policies that failed to slow the spread of COVID-19 but succeeded in tearing the country apart.

“The truth is that Dr. Fauci, who had a greater hand than anyone in causing Americans to lose their jobs, years of learning, and even their lives — thanks to the social and economic upheaval he helped foist upon us during the pandemic — ought to be ashamed to show his face in polite society,” Kelly said. “Instead the man is self-congratulatory.”

Kelly tore into Fauci’s record, blaming his COVID-19 pandemic recommendations for encouraging politicians to enact lockdown policies that she said killed jobs, kept children out of school, and tanked the economy. She accused him of lying about his views on masks and misleading the public by shifting goalposts to get people to accept harsh pandemic restrictions. Kelly said Fauci and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ignored evidence that contradicted their COVID-19 guidance and arrogantly declared that anyone who disagreed with their positions was criticizing “science.”

“He mocked the idea of natural immunity, eliminating the need for his mandatory, beloved vaccines, despite admitting years earlier that natural immunity is in fact the gold standard,” Kelly said. “His unexplained reversal cost millions their livelihoods. As of October of 2021, 5% of unvaccinated adults said they had lost a job due to a vaccine mandate, according to the Kaiser Foundation.”

DeSantis unleashes shocking attack on Anthony Fauci

DeSantis might drop kick ‘that little elf’ ‘across the Potomac’

Ron DeSantis unleashed a shocking new attack on Dr Anthony Fauci saying he wanted to see “that little elf” thrown “across the Potomac”.

The Florida governor made his bizarre comments about the outgoing director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases during a fundraising event in the state.

“I’m just sick of seeing him. I know he says he’s gonna retire. Someone needs to grab that little elf and chuck him across the Potomac,” Mr DeSantis said.

Dr Fauci, who is Joe Biden’s top medical adviser, became a popular right-wing target during the Covid-19 pandemic and announced on Monday that he was leaving his current job in December.

The scientist has said he is not “retiring” but is “moving on from my current positions.”

“I am announcing today that I will be stepping down from the positions of Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Chief of the NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation, as well as the position of Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden,” Dr Fauci said.

“I will be leaving these positions in December of this year to pursue the next chapter of my career.”

And he added: “I want to use what I have learned as NIAID Director to continue to advance science and public health and to inspire and mentor the next generation of scientific leaders as they help prepare the world to face future infectious disease threats.”

Fouci’s lockdowns have “irreparably damaged anyone”

Fauci’s biggest lie was told under oath

She reviewed how truckers, health care workers, police officers, and military members have been forced out of their jobs because of their convictions about the COVID-19 vaccines.

“But Fauci’s biggest lie was told under oath, when he testified before Congress that his group at the [National Institutes of Health] never funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China,” Kelly said. “The kind that experiments on bat coronavirus to try to make them more lethal or more transmissible in humans.”

Fauci has repeatedly denied lying about NIH support for gain-of-function research in high-profile clashes with Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) during multiple congressional testimonies. Kelly noted that the NIH contradicted Fauci by appearing to admit in writing that the nonprofit group EcoHealth Alliance violated the terms of an NIH grant by funding gain-of-function experiments.

She condemned Fauci for being unapologetic for his handling of the pandemic and “indifferent to the harm he has caused.” She expressed particular scorn for his recent comments on Fox News saying that he does not think that COVID-19 lockdowns have “irreparably damaged anyone.”

“We should pray this guy never gets near another grant or health group again in his life,” Kelly said. “He has destroyed the trust in public health. His decisions have hurt countless numbers of people. He did it all while posing on magazine covers and celebrating himself and his outsized ego, while our kids were muzzled and missed years of school as we all missed funerals and weddings and the chance to say goodbye to loved ones on their deathbeds.

“And we did indeed suffer irreparable harm, sir, whether you care to admit it or not,” she concluded. “Good riddance, Dr. Fauci. You are not truth and you will not be missed.”

Daily Caller Blasts “the little person”

“Sociopathic Liar” and “Political Hack”

America overjoyed at Fauci’s retirement

Doctors, political pundits and government officials across the spectrum reacted to Dr. Anthony Fauci’s announcement Monday that he will step down at the end of 2022.

Fauci was lauded by a number of Democratic leaders and activists, including President Joe Biden, after announcing his plans. Conservatives were much harsher, blasting Fauci for a lack of transparency about his dealings with the Wuhan Institute of Virology and inconsistencies in messaging during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This is a positive development. Especially for NIAID and the NIH. But also for the country,” Dr. Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist at Rutgers University, told the Daily Caller. “The resignation of the serially malfeasant, serially perjurious, NIAID Director will lift a burden from, and remove threat to, operations of NIAID and the NIH. In addition, it will remove the official who has done more than any other over two decades to enable, expand, and excuse high-risk gain-of-function research and to oppose and obstruct strengthened federal oversight of biosafety, biosecurity, and biorisk management.”

Ebright previously accused Fauci, who has directed the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) for nearly 40 years, of lying when he denied funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“Dr. Fauci’s retirement after 38 years as director of the NIAID leaves behind a mixed legacy. Under his leadership, the agency has supported the work of many brilliant scientists who have made discoveries that directly benefit the lives of countless patients,” said Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a Stanford University professor of medicine. “At the same time, Dr. Fauci’s leadership during the COVID pandemic has been divisive, rigid, and flawed.”

“His advice on lockdowns, school closures, and other restrictions, in particular, ignored the tremendous harm done to children and other vulnerable people by the policies themselves while failing to protect the elderly from COVID,” Dr. Bhattacharya continued. “He deployed his allies in the press to destroy the reputations of scientists who disagreed with his pandemic management, rather than seeking good faith discussions as all scientists should.”

Some critics speculated that Fauci, who also spent the past year and a half serving as President Biden’s top medical adviser, is stepping down to try and avoid potential investigations from Republicans, who are likely to regain control of the House of Representatives in this year’s midterm elections.

“Sociopathic liar and political hack Fauci is making a run for it before Republicans can take over the House,” conservative radio host Buck Sexton tweeted.

Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul made a similar observation on Sexton’s radio show Monday. “I’ve thought for some time that he will flee as soon as he thinks that he’ll be given accurate and poignant questions, and I think he won’t want to stand up to the scrutiny,” he said.

Some Republicans highlighted past mixed messaging from Fauci. Mick Mulvaney, who served as Acting White House Chief of Staff in the early days of the pandemic, blasted Fauci for flipping on masks.

“I see Tony Fauci is retiring. Hard for me to see him in the fawning light the media does, ever since he told me to go on TV at the onset of COVID and tell people not to wear masks,” Mulvaney tweeted Monday.

Various investigations during the pandemic revealed Fauci’s NIAID was funding abusive animal experiments, and some animal rights activists also took a victory lap at the news that Fauci would be stepping down. (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: New Dog Experiment Funded By Fauci’s NIAID Revealed To Have Killed 10 Beagles)

“Good riddance to Anthony Fauci, who has the dubious distinction of being the white coat who funded the Wuhan animal lab and the bureaucrat behind #BeagleGate, two major international scandals that White Coat Waste Project first exposed,” said Justin Goodman, senior vice president of advocacy and public policy at nonprofit White Coat Waste Project. “Dr. Fauci has been abusing his authority, taxpayers, and animals for half a century and his retirement shouldn’t get him off the hook.”

PETA, which called for Fauci and former NIH director Francis Collins to both resign over abusive animal experiences, celebrated as well. “Dr. Fauci, like Dr. Faustus, seemed to have sold his soul to the devil, at least when it came to animals. He gave millions of dollars to poison and kill them in go-nowhere experiments, as did his boss, Dr. Francis Collins,” PETA president Ingrid Newkirk told the Daily Caller. “One of them is already history, and the other is soon to be.”

Fauci has not yet announced his intentions for his post-government life, although he said he would remain active in the medical field. Biden has not named a replacement to be his top medical adviser.
