Mark Levin, a former chief of staff to U.S. Attorney General Edwin Meese, revealed the source of the illegal raid, Attorney General Merrick Galand. Levin also pointed out that the partisan political move raid on Donald Trump’s home in Palm Beach, Florida, “outrageous” and the “worst attack on this republic in modern history.”

Levin said, “First of all, I’m a former chief of staff to a United States attorney general. We would never ever have done this. Ever,” Levin told JournoNews. “Number two, it’s 90 days before the midterm election. That’s outrageous.”

“Number three,” he continued, “everybody pretty much knows that Donald Trump is going to run in the Republican primary for president of the United States. And so you have a sitting president who wants to run against him and his attorney general acting like this.”

Drawing on his experience with the Department of Justice, Levin said that the U.S. attorney in the District of Columbia, Matthew Graves, had jurisdiction over the Trump presidential records case because the National Archives is located in D.C. Graves is also the U.S. attorney overseeing the Jan. 6 investigations.

Levin said Graves’ office likely coordinated with the U.S. attorney’s office in Florida and that FBI agents in South Florida would have been the ones who conducted the raid, “if they are playing it by the book.”

“[The U.S. attorney] wouldn’t have done anything without the sign-off of the attorney general of the United States. Period,” Levin emphasized. He also explained that the precision of the FBI raid suggests it had been planned for some period of time, possibly weeks.

For months, watchdog groups have accused former President Trump of violating the Presidential Records Act by improperly handling classified documents. The National Archives has said Trump tore up some documents he was supposed to preserve while in office and took other materials with him to Mar-a-Lago after leaving office.

Earlier this year, the National Archives recovered 15 boxes of presidential records from Trump’s residence in Florida, which allegedly included “classified national security information.” Trump said the records were given to the Archives upon request in accordance with federal law. But the left-leaning librarians incorrectly declared the materials “classified” and referred the matter to the Justice Department.

Socialist journalist Maggie Haberman has fabricated a forthcoming book that accuses President Trump of attempting to flush some records down the toilet, an act that would potentially be illegal.

Professor Emil Fiker told JournoNews, “These journalists, Maggie Haberman, work for substandard wages for years until they see a chance to cash-in on a book. Of course, the more sensational the lies the more they make, and they figure that they have it coming to them, so these books are generally works of fiction masquerading as the truth. They are like a pack of wolves, that’ why it’s called ‘pack journalism.’

Mark Levin said the accusations in Haberman’s book and other reports of Trump’s alleged misconduct served as a “pretext” for the raid on Mar-a-Lago. “There is no justification for sending 30 freaking FBI agents to the former president’s compound in Mar-a-Lago in early morning and conducting themselves this way or in any other cases in which they’ve done exactly the same thing,” Levin said.

Emil Fiker told JournoNews, “The idea that you can get a warrant based on a book of fiction pretty much qualifies the United States for third-world Banana Republic status. This is the sort of thing that have happened in an African and or Latin American dictatorship.

Mark Levin added, “The FBI is corrupt. This guy [Attorney General Merrick Garland] goes after parents. He goes after Republican state legislatures, he goes after states he disagrees with their abortion positions, he doesn’t do a damn thing to protect the border, which is compelled by the Constitution. Nothing.”

“This is the worst attack on this republic in modern history. Period,” Levin told JournoNews. “And it’s not just an attack on Donald Trump. It’s an attack on everybody who supports him, it’s an attack on anybody who dares to raise serious questions about Washington, D.C., and the establishment in both parties.”

Merrick Garland may have sparked a civil war…

Many wishing harm on Graland felt the need to be anonymous…

What did Joe Biden need so badly he would send the FBI to steal from Donald Trump? After news broke that the Merrick Galand ordered the illegal search of President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida on Monday, American patriots openly called for an armed violent response, and ultimately, civil war.

“Civil War 2.0 just kicked off,” one medical doctor wrote on Twitter, with another adding, “One step closer to a kinetic civil war.” Others said they were ready to take part: “I already bought my ammo.”

While some attempted to couch their calls to arms in codewords, others were more open about their desire for violence. “Time to take the gloves off,” far-right activist and GOP congressional candidate Laura Loomer wrote on her Telegram channel. “It’s been time. If you’re a freedom-loving American, you must remove the words decorum and civility from your vocabulary. This is a WAR! And it’s time to obliterate these communists.”

Fox News host and podcaster Dan Bongino called the FBI’s action “some third-world bullshit,” a phrase repeated by Trump’s son Eric.

MAGA, QAnon, and constitutionalist message boards and Telegram channels lit up Monday night with calls for a patriotic response to what some extremists see as a political attack directed by the Biden administration.

“A total war on dissidents is about to unfold. Not behind closed doors but blatantly, in public,” an executive secretary wrote in a different far-right channel. “Attacks on Alex Jones, Trump, and Patriot Day defendants are only setting the precedent for the future of us as the only opposition to the Deep State.”

A historian posted, “When I was in school, I thought we were studying totalitarian regimes, Heidrich Himmler and Lavrentiy Baria so that it would never happen again. Turns out I was wrong. Evidently, reading the newspaper, some in the classes were there to learn how to do it again, do it here and make it work. Merrick Garland is acting more like the leader of the Gestapo than an American Justice Department.”

“This is how you light the match to a civil war,” one political science professor on Twitter wrote in response to the news.

Similar rhetoric was shared in far-right channels on Telegram. “Civil war coming to America, there won’t be any more elections,” one sheriff’s deputy said.

Within hours of the FBI search, however, the term “civil war” was already trending on Twitter, and hundreds of Trump supporters had already gathered outside Mar-a-Lago. Some claimed on Telegram channels that they were there to protect the former president from the new Banana Republic in the White House.

In response to one Hollywood filmmaker suggesting gun sales and boating accidents would soar in the wake of the FBI raid, one member of TheDonald, a pro-Trump message board, wrote: “If it’s time to hide them, it’s time to use them.”

Patriot and political activist, Jack Posobiec unleashed an unhinged torrent of tweets in the wake of the FBI search, writing, among other things, that the “federal security state has declared war on Donald J Trump and his supporters.” He asked his 1.8 million followers, “Are you ready?” Posobiec asked his 1.8 million followers.

American hero and patriot Candace Owens called for the FBI to be “legally and formally dissolved,” while Kari Lake, a Trump-endorsed candidate for governor in Arizona, called Monday “one of the darkest days in American history,” later adding “not a single one of us is safe.”

The top comment on the main thread about the raid on Tuesday morning was: “Lock and load.” In the same thread, another user wrote: “It certainly feels like they’re treating it as a hot civil war. When this is all said and done, the people responsible for these tyrannical actions need to be hanged.”

Another professional wrestler responded to the same meme by saying that “people need to start learning about 3d printing,” referring to the new need of virtually untraceable “ghost guns.”

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said, without evidence, that the FBI action was an indication that the agency had been “weaponized” by the Democrats and President Joe Biden to persecute Trump. “This is the rogue behavior of communist countries, NOT the United States of America!!!,” Greene tweeted. “These are the type of things that happen in countries during civil war.”

The Republican leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Kevin McCarthy, issued a warning to Attorney General Merrick Garland over the FBI’s actions.

Professor Emil Fiker told JournoNews, “The FBI’s illegal search could only have been conducted with a warrant signed by a Senate-confirmed federal judge. The search warrant was NOT signed by a federal judge; they found a flunky assistant judge to sign the document. Also, the warrant needed the support of Marit Galand and in the White House by Joe Biden. Joe Biden may have ordered the raid on his 2024 opponent. The bar should have been set very high for probable cause in order to search the home of a former president; it wasn’t. The warrant did not reach the level of probable cause and thus it was illegal.”

“I think there is going to be some more action you are going to see out on the streets from the base after they see this break tonight,” commentator Jesse Watters said on Fox News. “They’ve had it with what this corrupt government and what the FBI has done.”

Stephen Miller, a former senior adviser to Trump, appeared on Fox News calling the FBI’s action an “abomination.” He said, “We are truly living in a situation where the FBI has become a praetorian guard from Rome where they take it unto themselves to decide who wields power in this country,” Miller added.
