Senior DOJ officials blast FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago as “huge failure”

“The worst of the bureaucracy in action”

A senior Justice Department official condemned the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago as a “spectacular backfire”

FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago triggers Tsunami of backlash against the Justice Department.

What are the details that make the raid illegal?

Two senior DOJ officials spoke with Newsweek and disclosed new details about what led up to the raid.

According to one official, the FBI specifically planned to conduct the raid when former President Donald Trump was not present at Mar-a-Lago. Trump was in New York at the time of the raid, Fox News reported.

“What a spectacular backfire,” the senior DOJ official said of the FBI’s attempt to keep the raid “low-key.”

“I know that there is much speculation out there that this is political persecution, but it is really the best and the worst of the bureaucracy in action,” the official explained. “They wanted to punctuate the fact that this was a routine law enforcement action, stripped of any political overtones, and yet [they] got exactly the opposite.”

The second DOJ official told Newsweek the FBI “were seeking to avoid any media circus” but “they also created the very firestorm they sought to avoid, in ignoring the fallout.”

The officials explained the FBI had been planning the raid for weeks after receiving information from a confidential source about allegedly classified documents being stored at Mar-a-Lago. Newsweek reported the informant both identified the documents and told investigators where they were located.

Importantly, the sources told Newsweek that Attorney General Merrick Garland did not have advance knowledge about the specifics of the raid. Instead, FBI Director Christopher Wray approved the raid.

“I know it’s hard for people to believe,” one of the DOJ officials said, “but this was a matter for the U.S. attorney and the FBI.”

This anonymous source clamed the illegal raid was, “bureaucracy in action.”

A third confidential FBI source…

A third confidential FBI source, at a west coast FBI office, told JournoNews, “Bureaucracy in action? Really is that their excuse? Shit rolls downhill, it seems. Tens of thousands of government employees must be laughing their asses off at this CYA statement. This raid came from the very top, Biden and Garland. The idea that a local FBI field agent orchestrated a historic raid like this is insane.

Professor Emil Ficker

Texas political science professor Emil Ficker told JournoNews, “The key to understanding why this is an illegal raid is the time the raid actually started, not the time that the media said it started. Early in the morning before the raid stated, there are reports of a mysterious pearl stone (brown van) entering the compound, they disabled the security cameras and then unloaded boxes of material; they appear to be the same boxes that were removed as evidence later. What was the FBI doing disabling the security tapes? Later the FBI would make their own tapes. The early FBI agents on the premises wouldn’t radio for the majority of the agents to enter Mar-a-Lago until Mr Turmp’s cameras stopped recording and the secret service left the property. Why would the FBI require the Secret Service not witness their early morning tampering?”

Ficker added, “There is a lot of suspicious revelations to consider but for now just look at how long the raid lasted, from 7:00 until after 6:00 pm. What evidence inside a 3,000 square foot apartment can’t you find in eleven hours? It makes me think this was a fishing exposition they took to perhaps find something. I think I think what happened is the FBI may well have been tricked by somebody who told them they would find Al Capone’s documents that would nail him dead to rights. Some rat, probably a secret service agent, told them about a safe, turned out to be empty, and the other one that was hidden you know wherever. Try to think like  FBI agent; Merrick Garland expects you to find something. You’ve gotta get these documents right now; if you can find the documents your career gets a huge boost. Garland is gonna destroy Al Capone and you’re gonna zoom to the top of the FBI. But you can’t find shit (the evidence isn’t were it is supposed to be, and so you get nervous, you though Melania’s panties, after all they think (they’ve been told) Trump is the Al Capone and they think they’re Eliot Ness. But Donald Trump is not some mafia type, no matter how much you hate capitalism, and they’re not Untouchable. There will be elections and these rogue bureaucrats with guns will surely be asked by the voters for their gun and badge.

Why were the FBI going through Melania’s underthings?

Professor Ficker said, “This looks like a huge huge blunder; they don’t find the documents where they’re supposed to be so while they are planting the evidence in the basement, they start going through Melania Trump’s underwear drawer like ‘the dirt has gotta be there somewhere.’ It doesn’t sound like a very well organized raid.”

Ficker pointed out, “If you have good actionable intelligence on where the documents are, then you zoom in get the stuff and then you’re  out of there. You’ve got the evidence and you certainly don’t have time to rifle through Melania’s dresses and shoes and hey these agents are morons but they’re also men so there is an upstairs maid that says they took some of her lingerie into a bathroom. I mean this is super weird behavior, but these agents are Democrats and look at the people drawn to the left. I went into a Democratic Party election celebration once, just curious and I found the biggest collection of losers I’ve ever seen in one room.

Republican lawmakers are demanding that Garland and Wray be removed from office

Despite lie being told by the left that Garland was not involved in the planning of the raid, Republican lawmakers are demanding that Garland and Wray face repercussions for the unprecedented raid.

Sen. Rand Paul

“I’ve never been a fan of overusing impeachment, but I think there has to be an investigation. And if it warrants it, there’s going to have to be a look at whether or not the attorney general has misused his office for political purposes. Have they gone after a political opponent? I mean, this is beyond the pale,” Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said on Fox News.

Sen. Josh Hawley

“At a minimum, Garland must resign or be impeached. The search warrant must be published. Christoper Wray must be removed. And the FBI reformed top to bottom,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) said.

Rep. Jim Jordan

Ohio Representative Jim Jordan claimed Republicans could impeach Attorney General Merrick Garland if the GOP gains a majority in Congress.

Jordan spoke to Newsmax’s Rob Schmitt and insisted there were grounds for impeachment due to Garland’s refusal to prosecute any of the people who protested outside the homes of Supreme Court justices.

Ahead of and following the Supreme Court’s historic decision to overturn the abortion ruling Roe v. Wade, protestors took to demonstrating at the Supreme Court Building as well as at some of the justices’ homes.

These actions by Merrick Garland have been condemned and criticized by some politicians.
